Work with me
I have had the pleasure of working on a variety of commissions from Thompson's Restaurant on the Isle of Wight where I created unique watercolour paintings for both floors of the restaurant to bespoke glass paintings for a stained glass window in a private home.
I like to think that I can set my mind to many creative tasks and achieve results which will be timeless and beautiful.
I am also a regular contributor to Style of Wight magazine, where you can see my Illustrations in the recipe feature in each issue. I have also illustrated features in Taste of the Wight, Matt and Cat's eating out guide in the Isle of Wight County Press and several other online magazines.
I love editorial illustration and always welcome new enquires regarding this work.
HOW TO COMMISSION ME
Be it an illustrated article, a book illustration or a bespoke portrait I'd love to hear from you and discuss your ideas.
Simply email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form on my contact page.
I will get back to you as soon as I can and I will then ask you to supply me with the relevant information in order to achieve the best results. If you would like to read about how I create the artwork please continue reading below!
My working method begins with sketches, either from life or from photos taken by me or provided by the client. I then begin painting the piece using White Nights watercolours as they give a vibrant and long lasting result. I build up the layers and once finished and approved by the client I can frame the image if required or scan in the painting and send digitally.
The time it takes to create the artwork can differ depending on the subject matter, size and other factors so please do bear this in mind!
